02.07.2010: COC Summer Start in Kranj - Strolz wins in front of a polnish Armada

Andreas Strolz from Austria won the first COC Competition of the new seaoispn with jumps on 107 and 107 metres. He celebrates this win in front a polnish Armada - Kamil Stoch, David Kubacki and Stefan Hula finish on second, third and fourth place. 
Training:

The two Rounds of the Training for the COC in Kranj are done. Polands Jumpers had a very good start. The first Round was won by the Austrian Andreas Strolz, who did a jump on 112 metres, followed by the polnish jumper Kamil Stoch with 109,5 metres. Germanies Felix Schoft (107 metres) and Stoch's Teammate Maciej Kot, who also jumped 107 metres, ranked third.

The second Round afterwards was also dominated by the polnish jumpers. Stefan Hula did a famous jump on 113,5 metres and won this round in front of Kamil Stoch (110 metres) and Lukas Hlava from Czech Republic (109 metres).

This weekend there will be the COC Summer Start in Kranj/Slovenia. Austria will start with a strong team - Stefan Hayböck, Thomas Diethart, Markus Eggenhofer, Manuel Poppinger, Markus Schiffner, Andreas Strolz, Thomas Thurnbichler and David Unterberger.

But also Sweden, which will have a little Restart of Skijumping, but with the same Coach as last year, Wolfang Hartmann from Germany, is hoping for some surprises, bevause of really good Trainings during the last weeks, which Hartmann told Sportsplanet. Isak Grimholm, Carl Nordin and Josef Larsson will be the three Athletes, who will start for Sweden.
