07.02.2010: World Cup in Willingen: Germany wins Teamcompetition
The second place went the Norway with Johan Remen Evensen, Tom Hilde, Anders Jacobsen and Bjoern Einar Romoeren and 959.6 points. Austria (Florian Schabereiter, Michael Hayboeck, Stefan Thurnbichler, David Zauner) finished third with 937.1 points.
With this result Austria won the 2nd edition of the FIS Team Tour and a prize money of 100 000 Euro.
Statements of the Top 3 from Willingen:
Michael Uhrmann (GER): "We were better than Norway, that’s very good for us. It was great to hear the national anthem, it’s been a while since the last time. Today’s victory is worth nothing at the Olympics, but our shape is good. We go there to have a good time.”
Anders Jacobsen (NOR): "I’m very confident when it comes to Vancouver, my goal is to win a Gold medal there. It was not planned to get in a good shape just on time for Vancouver, but that we are doing so well at the moment is, of course, great.”
David Zauner (AUT): "We can be proud of today’s result. Austria has a great B-team.”
The next Station for the Jumpers will be the Olympic Games.
