14.08.2011: SGP in Einsiedeln - Stoch bricht Morgenstern's Siegesserie
Kamil Stoch (POL): “I’m very happy about my victory today, especially because I worked very hard and fought for that since the beginning of the summer. I already knew in the morning that it would be a difficult competition because of the wind. The only thing you can do is focus, and that’s what I did. I tried not to think about the distance, but only about what I have to do.
Thomas Morgenstern (AUT): “It’s never perfect if a competition is decided after only one round. But when the first round already took two hours it’s probably a good decision to cancel. It was a challenge to stay focused for so long and that’s why I’m happy about the second place.”
Rune Velta (NOR): “I’m very happy about my result in today’s competition. I jumped very well, of course you can always speculate if the wind helped or not and, for sure, I did not have bad conditions. But I think I also jumped well.”
